Judo
Judo means "the way of gentleness," or "the yielding way." It's primarily a grappling art, like wrestling, and these days most judo schools are competition-oriented. Practically speaking, judo is about ground fighting, while karate is about stand up punching, kicking, and striking. Ideally martial artists should study both, as the principles of each tend to complement one another.
Like WTF Tae Kwon Do, Judo is an Olympic sport.
